About the role

The HR Ops supervisor manages Technical / Business Support and/or Production / Maintenance employees. Plans and sets day-to-day operational objectives within a clearly defined area of responsibility. Problems faced are routine and not difficult. Participates in the planning and administration of HR plans and programs to ensure efficient operations of an assigned business unit or department. Provides assistance in one or more disciplines within HR. Assists in gathering, verifying and processing of personnel related documentation. Ensures practices, policies and procedures are adhered to by direct reports.

Requirements

  • Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution

  • University Degree or equivalent experience or equivalent experience and specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices

  • Languages: English, French + additional language (as advantage)

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Proven people management skills

  • MS Office must have , Workday, ServiceNow (as advantage)

  • Process Improvement Experience

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for making minor changes in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of the work area.

  • Provides primary input to performance, reward and discipline decisions for direct reports.

  • Utilizes basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.

  • May manage day-to-day elements of the budget (overtime, etc).

  • Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.

  • Identifies, defines and addresses problems that are not immediately evident, but typically not complex. Problems typically involve consideration of a single site.

  • Problems are typically solved through drawing from prior experiences or standard procedures.
