In order to enhance our capacities to analyse financial data to serve better our clients, we are hiring a Financial Analyst to join our Capital Advisory team for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), based in Prague.

What the day will look like

  • Analysing insurers’ financial information, public and private, including annual financial statements, Solvency or other regulatory reports and filings, reports by analysts and rating agencies

  • Producing in-depth technical analysis and getting an innovative insight into (re)insurance companies’ financial position, portfolios and needs for internal and external audiences.

  • Supporting our client relationships through tracking industry trends and delivering market insight and analysis as foundation for client recommendations

  • Presentation Development – preparing client presentations summarizing findings and recommendations.

  • Communicating with brokers, actuaries and account executives within Aon

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • University degree in the fields of Finance / Economics / Mathematics / Business

  • Proficiency in English

  • Knowledge of the financial services sector, and ideally the insurance or reinsurance industry

  • Strong communication skills, including presentations to senior colleagues and clients.

  • Ability to analyse and interpret complex financial information, including financial statements and regulatory returns

  • Competent usage of Microsoft Office, databases, and data visualization tools

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work in a collaborative and international environment
