The Opportunity

For our Electrophysiology Division EP we are currently looking for an ambitious, well-skilled professional to join our team in Czechia as a Field Clinical Engineer. This is a regional, field-based role requiring daily traveling across the territory of the Czech Republic. Preferred candidate location is Prague and Central Bohemia.

As a Field Clinical Engineer EP you will be responsible for providing expert support and advise on the use of the Abbott portfolio within Czechia region, as well as for the promotion of Abbott Product lines through professional, technical & clinical support to both medical and sales personnel.

This position’s primary function is to support EP procedures clinically and technically. This position is additionally responsible for ensuring that all questions of a technical nature from the field or internal sources are answered in an expeditious manner and reported to the competent authorities within Abbott.

What You'll do:

  • Providing expert clinical consultation, teaching and support on the use of all EP products and their appropriate application in the clinical setting.

  • Maintain up to date technical and clinical knowledge of current and new therapies and technologies within the therapy area, including competitor devices, as well as a general understanding of the dynamics of the country healthcare market.

  • Conduct product presentations and perform stand duty at exhibitions when requested, responding to technical questions that might be raised by the team or customers.

Required qualifications and background:

  • Individuals will ideally have an university degree in a science related field or engineering.

  • Ideally electrophysiology/cardiac rhythm management or equivalent clinical experience.

  • Cardiac anatomy and physiology knowledge would be considered as a strong asset.

  • Native Czech and very good command of English (both written and spoken).

  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and customer-focus.

  • A willingness to travel 75% of the time and ability to work autonomously.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Driving license B is a must.
