Overview

Summary:The primary focus for this position is to support the field teams in the development, implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of Strata Solar, LLC’s EHS programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements within an assigned region.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the maintenance and implementation of safety programs, compliance plans, and initiatives. • Performs the role of investigative lead in complex investigation of incidents, near misses, and property damage i ncidents. Provides root cause analysis by examining evidence gathered from conducting in-depth victim, casualty and witness interviews, and photographic evidence. Ensure follow-up is done to minimize future exposure and ensures proper records/documents are maintained. • Conduct, coordinate, and track various training to support company programs. • Conduct routine safety observations to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, company environmental, health, and safety policies, procedures and practices. • Conduct regular site visits. • Conduct written Site Audits and/or Job Behavior Observations at a frequency dictated by management and/or client. • Drive safety incentive program. • Keep safety credentials current. • Represent Strata Solar during OSHA inspections. • Assist in training endeavors when requested. • Coordinates with others for the purpose of completing projects/work orders efficiently and effectively. • May respond to emergency situations for the purpose of resolving immediate health / safety/ security concerns. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including tact and diplomacy. • Ability to maintain an established work schedule. • Ability to interact and communicate effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures. • Effective organization and planning skills. • Ability to maintain confidentiality. • Ability to safely drive a company vehicle. • Demonstrated ability to use standard office software programs, including spreadsheets, databases, word processing, and audiovisual presentations.

Qualifications

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree. • AAS in Safety or related field (preferred) or five (5) years of experience in a related field. • STS, CHST/OHST, ASP, CSP, or other recognized professional safety certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire). • Authorized OSHA 500 Trainer (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire). • Authorized CPR/First Aid/AED Instructor (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).0
