Overcoming objections, persistence, creativity and determination will be used daily to obtain a complete understanding of the prospective customers business to negotiate and close. WHAT YOULL DO: Collaborate with Lead Qualification Reps to ensure understanding of prospective customers business. Collaborate with Product and Purchasing departments on appropriate solutions, pricing, and product availability. Uncover new opportunities for business in each account through discovery conversations. Educate prospects on Univar Solutions and our solutions to gain buyer confidence. Coordinate customer technical support and product sample needs. Effectively negotiate pricing and close qualified business leads provided. Facilitate new customer set up with internal partners Document all customer engagement in the provided CRM tools. Demonstrate commitment to safety, both personal and of your colleagues. WHAT YOULL NEED: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 1-2 years of sales experience preferred A dedicated high achiever with a desire to succeed in a competitive marketplace and fast-paced environment Motivated, energetic self-starter The tenacity to stay engaged regardless of the obstacle Ability to overcoming objections with persistence, creativity and determination Strong questioning and listening skills with the ability to deliver mutually advantageous solutions to Univar Solutions, suppliers and customers Desire to gain customer commitments and shorten the sales cycle Collaboration and team building with internal partners to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new customers as well as an adequate hand off to Sales Account Management.
