Primary Purpose of this Position:

Implement and maintain standards of maintenance excellence to optimize industrial processes, enhance analysis techniques, and provide actionable recommendations for operational improvement, ensuring equipment integrity and sustained success, with a focus on overseeing equipment refurbishments within the region.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Ensure precise refurbishment of equipment according to technical specifications and internal/external customer requirements.

  • Implement best practices and enhancements to optimize availability and efficiency of refurbished equipment.

  • Ensure robust safety systems to prevent accidents during equipment operation.

  • Efficiently manage the maintenance team and departmental financial resources.

  • Control execution timelines through detailed planning and accurate reporting.

  • Develop and train the team on production processes and fault identification.

  • Provide reports to internal and external clients, meeting their information and communication needs.

  • Actively participate in equipment refurbishment and start-up processes, providing support to the team.

  • Technically review equipment documents and reports/audits conducted by the departmental team.

  • Ensure implementation of Loss Prevention Plans (LPPs) and development of new parts to reduce costs and enhance equipment quality.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in Industrial Maintenance

  • Experience in Leadership

  • Experience in Industrial Supv/Specialist

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline - Preferred

  • Mechanical Aptitude: Proficiency in machining and mechanical materials

  • Equipment Refurbishment: Expertise in equipment refurbishment, encompassing mechanical, electrical, and electronic components

  • Innovation: Implementation of best practices and innovations for maintenance optimization.

  • Process Improvement: Proven track record of implementing successful maintenance strategies and driving process improvements.

  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement through team development and skill enhancement.

  • Knowledge of:

  • Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies to identify and mitigate potential hazards.

  • Understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards in industrial settings.

  • Languages :

  • Fluent English (Required)

  • Intermediate Spanish (Preferred)
