Confidential Heavy Equipment Operator in Poulsbo, Washington

Certified Veteran and Minority owned Poulsbo, WA based Civil Construction company, specializing in Site Development and Underground Utilities, is looking for heavy equipment operators.  Veterans encouraged to apply. This is a Safety Sensitive position.  Experience Requirements: 

  • Minimum 5 years' experience operating "Dirt Moving" heavy equipment, including dozers, excavators, loaders, and backhoes. No forklifts or scissors lifts.
  • Ability to read, understand, and explain Civil Blueprints

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in the Civil Construction industry
  • Experience with operation of GPS-enabled heavy equipment
  • Pipe-Laying experience
  • Current CDL license

Include any current licenses or credentials with resume. Duties:

  • Excavation, grading, setting slopes, and trenching for underground utility installations
  • Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies, including workplace safety and environmental best practices
