West Sound Workforce is assisting a Poulsbo based manufacturer of the world's most advanced electrical and signal system products in seeking entry level Cable Assembly Technicians to join their production team. Internationally acclaimed, this science and research-based company has been providing high performance products for recording, film, medical, and consumer audio-visual systems since 1997.

Reporting to the Production Manager, this position will work on a smaller scale to build, solder, and assemble cutting edge audio components while working independently in your own dedicated space. Successful candidates will have good eye-hand coordination and comfort working with small parts.

On-the-job training is provided!

Shift Information:

  • Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm

What you will do as a Cable Assembly Technician:

  • Work from layout drawings, point-to-point wire lists, and wiring schematics
  • Use measuring equipment, such as scales, calipers, and micrometers to assemble entire products or components
  • Use a variety of hand tools to perform wire cutting, stripping, soldering, and crimping
  • Ensure products are built to specifications

     

What we are looking for:

  • Ability to use various hand tools to produce a final product
  • Ability to follow instructions and diagrams as delivered for each product
  • General knowledge of electronics and components is a plus
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
  • A desire to learn and comfort asking questions
