Our client a general contracting company is seeking a Payroll/HR Admin Asst Clerk to join their team.

Job Title: Payroll Clerk/Human Resources Clerk

Location: Poughkeepsie

Pay Range: 24.00/hr.

Temp-Perm

Schedule: M-Fri 8am-5pm

What’s the Job?

-process daily time sheets from the field and enter into Timberline software

-produce weekly paychecks for full time employees and union employees

-Process New Hires

-reconcile payroll and pay weekly taxes, 401K contributions, child support, etc.

-prepare certified payrolls generated from the weekly payroll

-Work with subcontractors to obtain their certified payrolls

-Review the certified payrolls from subcontractors to ensure they are in compliance

-Update annual union wage increases and benefits

-monthly prepare union reports and distribute checks to the unions

-file quarterly payroll taxes

-perform union audits upon request

-assist in the yearly company audits

-prepare at year end W-2’s
