One of the largest national providers of accessible, outcome-based behavioral and mental health services has immediate position available in various locations in Schuylkill County for compassionate, honest, and reliable direct care workers to assist our clients. Make an impact in someone's life.

We are looking for Direct Care Workers who want to make a difference. Our clients have a variety of care needs. Our direct care workers provide hands-on assistance with personal care needs such as ambulating, bathing and dressing and/or the activities of daily living such as meal preparation and assistance with household tasks and companionship.

We offer flexible schedules including early morning, weekend, and overnight shifts. All applicants must have a valid driver's license, reliable car, and be accessible to clients and staff as needed.

  Primary Responsibilities: • Provide social, emotional, and environmental support to ensure the happiness, health, and safety of the residents • Provide daily routine care such as bathing, dressing and feeding • Provide patient transportation to doctor appointments, outside activities and shopping • Dispenses medication prescribed for the residents, following the medication administration procedures • Performs household duties and assists/ supervises the residents in performing household duties to insure that the residents and facility are clean, safe, and secure at all times

Minimum Requirements • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid Pennsylvania Driver's License with a good driving record • High School Diploma is preferred
