Ministry Support (Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries) Medication Technician in Pottstown, Pennsylvania

Category/Shift/Hours per 2 week pay period: Part Time / Varied Shift / 40 hours per pay period Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries is one of the premier employers in Pennsylvania and Maryland. We are a non-profit organization which includes Diakon Senior Living Services and Diakon Child, Family, and Community Ministries. General Responsibilities: *Responsible for assisting residents with their daily personal needs such as, bathing, grooming, and dressing, etc. *Administers medication within Diakon policies and regulatory requirements. *Delivers excellent customer service to the residents and their family members. *Documents vital signs including blood pressure, temperature respiration and weight checks and other pertinent information in the resident's electronic health record. Education/Training: A high school diploma, GED, or active registry status on the state nurse aide registry required. Successful completion of Pennsylvania Personal Care DPW Medication Administration Course/ Maryland Assisted Living Medication Administration course. Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of experience in related positions preferred. ADA: Ability to sit, stand, lift, bend, reach, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs.; visual and auditory skills.Compensation and Benefits: Diakon offers a competitive compensation and benefits package for Full-Time and Part-Time employees.
