DMMA General Machine Operator and Warehouse in Pottstown, Pennsylvania

 

Job Description Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate various machines that process used automobile catalysts.

• Stand for long periods of time performing various tasks from floor level (lunch and break time provided)

• Sort products during processing for high yield recycling. • Able to work in a fast-paced production environment.

• Able to lift 10 to 50lbs repetitively.

• Operate a warehouse fork truck, and a specialized fork truck

. • Load and unload trucks as needed.

• Weigh and accurately mark finished products bags, with information such as weight, tare weight, contents, date.

• Perform other tasks as needed around the warehouse, such as trash removal, inventory movement and organization, etc.

• Operate within standard operating procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Regular housekeeping and cleaning are parts of the daily job routine. Willingness to keep work environment clean is a must.

• Tolerate and routinely wear PPE, such as , Glasses, Gloves, Ear plugs, Hard hats, respirators, and any other PPE deemed necessary for the task

• Organizational skills are required.

• Positive attitude or willingness to learn new skills is a plus
