Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Journeyman Electricians for projects located in and around Portsmouth, VA. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of up to $28/hour based on experience & skill level. If you are a Electrician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:

  • Wiring sides of ceiling light fixtures

  • Residential & commercial wiring

  • Upgrade & repair for new houses & remodels

  • Appliance & lighting installations

  • Electrical circuit installations to latest electrical code requirements

  • Architectural lighting design

  • Installation of fixtures to meet any mood or highlight decor

  • Data network & telephone installations

  • Wireless or wired computer circuits & telephony lines for home or office

  • Power meter and electrical panel service

  • Service upgrades & replacements for safety & reliability

  • Bathroom & spa wiring

  • Code compliant circuit installation, shock protection, & GFI circuit installations

  • Work on exterior lighting & power supply

  • Work on underground electrical circuits

  • Other tasks as assigned
