IMAGINE ONE TECHNOLOGY & MANAGEMENT, LTD., is seeking a mid-level IT Configuration Specialist to support the Surface Maintenance Engineering, Planning, Program (SURFMEPP). They maintain, monitor, and refine Class-wide and Individual-Ship Maintenance Plans for all non-nuclear surface ships to ensure material readiness for the projected service life, develop life-cycle strategies to address system upgrades, and fully implement the Class Maintenance Plan. SURFMEPP is headquartered at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, Virginia.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assists with SURFMEPP Command special projects.

  • Validate perceived ship maintenance issues by conducting data driven analysis, presenting results in various forms such as Pareto charts, Venn diagrams, histograms, pie charts.

  • Harvest and analyze data from various Navy ship maintenance databases.

Experience Requirements:

  • Requires a BS Degree in computer science, management information systems, or equivalent experience in a data center environment and a minimum of 5 years of related professional experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications (Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience in a data center environment and a minimum of 5 years of related professional experience.

Required Experience:

  • Experience working in and data management within the Configuration Data Managers Database – Open Architecture (CDMD-OA) and Model Based Product Support (MBPS) system.

  • Possess a wide range of experience using relational, network, hierarchical, object-oriented databases and demonstrated experience with Platform Logistic Management (PLM) software in support of performing comparative analysis.

  • Experience with surface ship configuration management processes, i.e., RIC, ASI Files, RAD Web, etc.

  • Familiarity in developing, maintaining, and implementing MS SharePoint applications, reports, and other related programming.

  • A thorough knowledge of computer technology and data processing techniques; knowledge and experience with digital document management .

Requested Experience:

  • Demonstrated ability to develop, test and deploy effective intranet sites.

  • Demonstrated ability to pull data and run reports with the CDMD-OA.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong knowledge of Surface Ship Class Maintenance Planning processes

  • Strong knowledge of the Surface Ship Planned Maintenance System (PMS)

Security Requirements:

  • US citizenship REQUIRED

  • DoD Secret (or higher) is REQUIRED
