WIN Waste Innovations is a vertically integrated business with a platform of 50 strategically located collection, transfer, and disposal assets. These include waste-to-energy facilities, transfer stations, ash monofills, landfills, and fleets of rail cars and collection vehicles. We process more than 11 million tons of waste annually, converting 6.7 million tons of waste into clean, renewable energy that powers 340,000 homes. We recycle more than 234,000 tons of plastic, paper, and metals from the waste stream. The Finance Manager (FP&A) will assist in the development and implementation of company wide strategies that ensure WIN Waste can deliver on the expectations to our customers and stakeholders. This role will provide the financial expertise to successfully execute the long term vision for company growth and development initiatives independently and in cross functional teams. This role will provide financial leadership across all areas of the business such as budgeting, forecasting, business development, process improvement and implementation, and business partnering with key Operations leaders. Finance Manager * Business partner with operational counterparts to support business decisions * Lead monthly reporting cycle ensuring timely and accurate financials * Prepare and analyze monthly variance reports and explanations * Develop budgets, forecasts, and reporting tools * Lead, manage, and develop a team with a focus on coaching and career development * Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive standardization * Build and design financial models needed for financial analysis and planning * Assist in running scenarios and sensitivity analyses to support business decisions * Review commitment forms to ensure hurdle rates met * Provide senior management with timely, accurate information for effective decision making * Complete quarterly site visits ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures * Complete ad hoc analysis and support when needed Required: Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting with at least 5 -- 7 years of hands-on experience in financial analysis/modeling Preferred: MBA or CPA, Disposal/Waste industry experience Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required Demonstrates broad academic and practical understanding of finance and accounting concepts such as NPV, IRR, etc. Demonstrates the ability to develop productive relationships with management and peer groups within the business units. Ability to work independently and anticipate the needs of the business and stakeholders.
