Job description

Our New Product Introduction (NPI) team is looking for a technician to join the company in the Headquarters located in Porto Sant’ Elpidio; this qualified technician will work with the team to optimize the production process.

Duties and responsabilities

  • Assembly of prototypes or small pre-series.

  • Assembly of qualification unit.

  • Understanding, applying, and correcting design data generated by engineering department.

  • Understanding, applying, and correcting manufacturing data generated by process department.

  • Optimize the assembly process.

  • Realization of manufacturing data.

  • Communicate complete project data to production.

  • Assembly of units intended for qualification testing.

  • Assembly of the prototype in the management software.

  • Handling and management of removed materials.

    Qualifications and Skills

  • High School Diploma in technical/electronics or alternatively Secondary School Diploma followed by appropriate supplementary preparatory training, to be verified by CV.

  • Good knowledge in the field of electronics and informatics.

  • Basic knowledge in the field of laboratory instruments (oscilloscope, function generator, multimeter, power supply).

  • Basic knowledge with “Microsoft Office”.

  • Able to work autonomously and/or in team.

  • Able to work under pressure.

  • Attitude to problem solving and to achieve results within time and cost constraints.

  • Basic knowledge of English in writing and speaking (the knowledge of additional languages is a plus).

    Preferred Skills

  • Basic knowledge in the field of optical instruments (splicer, recoater, polarization extinction ratio meter, power meter, laser diode controller).

  • Good theoretical knowledge and practice in welding process (preferably IPC J-STD-001).

  • Good theoretical knowledge and practice in welding rework process (preferably IPC-7711/7721).

  • Good theoretical knowledge in inspection process (preferably IPC-A-610).

  • Good theoretical knowledge and practice in cables assembly process (preferably IPC/WHMA-A-620).
