Job description

Our Manufacturing Data Analysis Team is looking for an Electronics and/or Mechanical Technician to be responsible for managing electronic, mechanical and cable non-conformities, in particular the repair and testing of electronic boards, mechanical parts and cables. This opportunity is aimed at technicians with a background in Electronics and/or Mechanics or with an equivalent scientific background.

Duties and responsibilities

The selected candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team with experience in non-conformity (optical, electronics and mechanical) management and implementation of root cause analysis, testing and validation of alternative components and data analysis of production, prototype, and post-repair units.

The selected candidate will take the following responsibilities:

  • Repairing electronic boards, mechanical parts, and cables.

  • Testing electronic boards, mechanical parts, and cables.

  • Support in the management of non-conformities in terms of defining test plans, execution of test campaigns and analysis of results.

  • Support in the generation of documentation relating to non-conformity management activities.

  • Support in the definition and coordination of the tests plan for the validation of alternative electronics components.

  • Support in the release documentation for the validation of the alternative components.

    Qualification and skills

  • Technical diploma in Electronics (or equivalent) or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.

  • Good knowledge in the use of PC and Office package (Word, Excel, Power Point).

  • Consolidated knowledge in in reading schematics of boards and mechanical drawings.

  • Consolidated knowledge of and ability to use oscilloscope, multimeter, power supply and waveform generator.

  • Able to work autonomously and/or in team.

  • Attitude to problem solving and to achieve results within time and cost constraints.

  • Basic Knowledge of IPS and ability in braising (optional).

  • Basic knowledge of English in writing and speaking (optional).

  • Basic Knowledge of Inertial Navigation Systems (optional).
