Medtronic Associate Sales Administrator Diabetes – Temporary contract in Porto, Portugal

In this exciting Associate Sales Administrator role, you will be part of the Medtronic's Remote Monitoring Support Center, a project to remotely monitor Diabetes Type1 Patients in Insulin Pump Therapy. The project will have a duration of three years, and you will join the Iberia Diabetes Operating Unit, reporting to the Portuguese Sales Manager.

You will be responsible for tasks related to the management of the remote monitoring of patients with Diabetes, and you will perform different administrative functions necessary for the proper functioning of the Project. you will also support the daily activities of the Diabetes Operating Unit (OU) in Portugal.

The position will be based in Portugal, ideally in Lisbon or Oporto.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities include the following:

• Train patients, family members, doctors, and nurses on how to use the IT platform (web and application) that will be used in the project.

• Provide patient training on how to download insulin pump information to the remote monitoring system.

• Execute the triage of the discharges that patients perform in the remote monitoring system based on a protocol validated and signed by the hospital.

• Manage patient adherence to the program and maintain contact with patients and their relatives: manage the scheduled downloads and unanswered questionnaires that have not been performed by patients.

• Manage the scheduling of patient downloads of their insulin pump information in the remote monitoring system.

• Ensure that all patient activity is recorded on the IT platform.

• Provide technical support for the use of the project's technological platform.

Must Haves

• University degree

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role

• A minimum of 1–2 years of working experience in administrative tasks

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office package (including very good Excel skills)

• Good level of English (B2/C1), both written and spoken

• Strong communication skills

• Client-oriented approach

• Flexibility, proactivity, positive and open attitude, and team oriented.

• Good prioritization, organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as high attention to detail and accuracy

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of remote monitoring systems in patients with type 1 diabetes

• High learning capacity in a short period of time

• Knowledge in SAP ERP and SAP CRM/SFDC (SalesForce)

• Process Analysis and Process optimization experience
