Aerotek Shipping And Receiving Clerk - $22/hr in Portland, Oregon

Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job Description

Join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk where you will be responsible for picking orders, preparing shipments, and receiving and stocking storage containers for production. You will also replenish production operators with materials, weigh and count inventory, and use computers to track and ship products. Additionally, you will assist in loading trucks and operate forklifts to handle materials. Current opening is on graveyard shift with regular scheduled hours from 9:30pm-8:00am, Monday-Thursday.

Skills

  • Forklift operation

  • Inventory management

  • Use of computer systems for tracking and shipping

  • Attention to detail

  • Adaptability to shift schedules

  • Ability to follow safety guidelines

Shift:

Training will initially be conducted on the day shift for approximately 3-6 weeks before transitioning to the regular graveyard shift schedule.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Portland, Oregon.

Work Environment

  • Our facility is clean, organized, and quiet, specializing in the distribution of chemicals for the semiconductor industry.

  • Though the environment is very safe with no direct chemical contact, full PPE is sometimes required, including bunny suits, gloves, safety glasses, and respirators in specific areas.
