Senior Microsoft Dynamic Administrator

The Sr. Enterprise Applications Administrator is responsible for the support of system configurations, upgrades, security administration, change management, monitoring, auditing, integrations, maintenance, and documentation of POWER’s enterprise software applications, primarily, but not limited to, Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP. The successful candidate is a career-level professional within the field. Considered highly skilled and proficient in this discipline; conducts complex, important work under minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment based on their long-term experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the availability of enterprise software applications, primarily, but not limited to, Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP.

  • Mitigate issues with the stability of Enterprise Software. Manage system performance and application issues. Collaborate with vendors, partners, and internal team members to resolve issues.

  • Work across IT teams to ensure the ERP environment is fully utilizing available technology to enhance productivity and improve work processes.

  • Assist in designing and building out environments. Regularly audit, modify, and prune environments.

  • Ensure integrations are enabled and performant on all levels.

  • Review software update release notes, ensure compatibility, communicate feature changes, and coordinate system updates.

  • Maintain user accounts and permissions, and regularly audit account permissions to minimize vulnerabilities.

  • Monitor and aid the extraction of system information, including working with partners to enable custom reports.

  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.

  • Create and document system procedures.

  • Mentor junior team members.

Skills:

  • Hands-on technical experience administering and configuring MS Dynamics F&O/CE.

  • Strong background with General Ledger, Accounts Receivable/Payable, Purchasing, Fixed Assets, and/or Inventory.

  • Working knowledge of Azure cloud services.

  • Experience managing cloud hosted VM's.

  • Advanced problem finding and troubleshooting methods in enterprise applications.

  • Highly skilled in articulating complex conditions.

  • Able to provide advisory services.

  • Work independently and as part of a team.

  • Advanced project management and organizational skills.

  • Must be self-motivated, able to multi-task, be flexible and committed to success.

  • Strong analytical skills.

Experience:

  • 6+ years administering MS Dynamics or similar enterprise systems, particularly ERPs.

  • 3+ years working with Microsoft Dynamics F&O/CE.

  • 3+ years developing SQL queries.

  • 3+ years with Dynamics Batch Jobs, Security roles, Environment monitoring

  • 3+ years Dynamics LCS – Lifecycle Services

  • 2+ Azure Dataverse, DevOps

Education:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or similar field.

  • Advanced degree in related field a plus.

 Salary DOE: The pay range for this position is $95K-135K per year; however, base pay may be higher or lower depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This figure does not include additional compensation such as health benefits, vacation, 401k, etc.
