Aston Carter Senior Audit Associate in Portland, Oregon
Job Description:
This role requires a candidate to have a genuine interest in developing a comprehensive understanding of our client’s business and tax environments, as well as providing a proactive year-round tax planning approach.
Responsibilities:
Lead audit and other assurance engagements
Provide timely and superior-quality services exceeding client expectations
Identify additional areas of service and planning opportunities
Maintain relationships with key business contacts and clients
Pursue new business development
Develop skills for reviewing audit and assurance engagements
Skills & Qualifications:
Active Oregon CPA certification
CHH ProSystem software experience
Fixed Asset Software
Experience working within a mid-sized or large sized firm
Experience working with construction or non-profit client base
Experience with client acquisition
Soft Skills:
Integrity/Promptness/Forthrightness/Trustworthiness/Reliability/Excellence
Personable and Professional – customer service demeanor
Attention to detail
Great Communicator – Internally and externally – both written and oral
Highly organized with the ability to manage projects
