Description

A highly respected client has an open role for a Benefits Administrator through Charlie Gilmur with Robert Half. The benefits administrator will design and implement the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs. The benefits administrator will routinely research alternative benefits programs, implement enhancements to current programs, and oversee all general tasks associated with benefits administration. Responsibilities

  • Help organization to comply with applicable government regulations

  • Ensure employees are aware of their benefit options

  • Support administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes

  • Maintain professional communication with accounting department and work closely with them regularly

  • Oversee transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums and plan administration

  • Craft benefit appropriate programs such as insurance, wellness etc.

  • Lead enrollments and determine employee eligibility

  • Organize leaves of absence and process claims or requests (medical operations, worker's compensation etc.)

  • Develop deep knowledge of employee benefits plans and vendors

  • Serve as primary relationship stakeholder with all our service providers

  • Monitor daily benefits processing

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources or similar relevant field

  • Excellent communication and organization skills

  • Experience with office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)

  • Knowledge of benefits contract language, or willingness to learn

  • 3+ years of related benefits or employee benefits administration experience

  • Hands-on experience with data analysis
