Oregon Health & Science University Non OHSU Student Worker in Portland, Oregon

This position is to maintain checkpoints at various locations at our hospitals and clinics by:

  • Ensure approved staff have badge visible when entering.

  • Give patients and visitors complete a symptom screening.

  • Educate patients and visitors of our current visitor policies.

  • Make sure everyone has a mask prior to entering locations.

Student Workers must:

  • Be at least 16 years old

  • Enrolled in or on vacation from or is otherwise registered in college (undergraduate minimum 6 credit hours; graduate minimum 4.5 credit hours)*

  • Customer service experience

  • Professional demeanor

  • Effective communication skills

  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills

  • Code of Conduct

  • Respect in the workplace
