Our employees are key ingredients to our success, and you will help deliver high-quality labor relations strategies. To accomplish this, you will provide support to managers, site leaders and the labor function generally.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Help design, improve and execute the company's Labor Relations Strategy

  • Build proactive relationships with our Unions and partner to drive Contract Negotiations as well as execution of negotiated contracts

  • Partner with leaders at all levels to build Labor Relations Processes and Capabilities to deliver business objectives

  • Devise and direct positive Employee Relations activities with a focus on building a High Performing Organization

  • Provide day-to-day advice and support to the business on contract administration issues and grievances, lead investigations and partner in developing and managing processes related to the Union Contract

  • Collaborate on developing and delivering training, staying abreast of trends and developments in the Labor Relations discipline

What you will bring

A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:

  • Relevant Labor Relations or Human Resources experience in a Unionized environment

  • Experience in labor negotiations, contract administration, and/or union-free campaigns, and prior CPG/FMCG manufacturing experience highly preferred

  • Ability to relate to and communicate with all levels of Leadership and Union Representatives

  • Drive for Results, Customer Service orientation and Care for people

  • Problem Solving ability and agility to navigate through challenging Labor Relations situations

  • Continuous Improvement Mindset to drive relevant changes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field

  • 5 or more years of relevant labor relations experience or human resources experience

  • Experience with contract administration, and/or union free campaigns

  • Experience with labor negotiations

  • Experience is a CPG / Manufacturing environment is highly preferred

  • Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing

  • Experience in a unionized facility required

  • Experience managing multiple direct reports is preferred

  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to relate to people in all parts of the plant and organization

  • The position requires strong influencing skills as much of their success will be through others

  • A “boots” on the ground approach with engagement with Core (hourly) and Support (salaried) colleagues
