Description

Robert Half seeks an adept HR Generalist to provide support for a well-known company in Portland The ideal candidate should possess prior experience in HR Generalist roles, showcasing proficiency in a broad spectrum of tasks ranging from recruitment to benefits administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer compensation and benefits programs

  • Facilitate talent acquisition and recruitment processes

  • Coordinate and execute training and development initiatives

  • Aid in the formulation and execution of HR policies

  • Oversee tasks related to performance management

  • Conduct data gathering and analysis to derive valuable HR metrics, such as time-to-hire and turnover rates

  • Coordinate quarterly and annual employee performance evaluations

  • Maintain employee records both electronically and in hard copy

  • Foster job satisfaction by promptly resolving issues, implementing new benefits, and organizing team-building events

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations

  • Manage and update HRIS software

  • Schedule meetings, interviews, and appointments

  • Assist in payroll preparation and processing

  • Handle onboarding paperwork including I-9s, W-2s, NDAs, etc.

    Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of experience in an HR Generalist capacity

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities

  • Proficient computer and typing skills

  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for human resources.
