If yes, Spurwink is hiring hard-working candidates like you to become a Payroll Specialist. Spurwink's Payroll Specialist prepares and makes all payroll deposits by the required due dates, prepares and files quarterly and annual tax reports and annual W2s prepares other reports to regulatory agencies as require and maintains the payroll earnings register. In addition, the Payroll Specialist cross-trains other Finance department employees on the duties of their position, assists with audits, and sets up and maintains various employee benefits in the payroll system.
This is a full-time hourly Monday through Friday position.

QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or Business Administration or Associates Degree with equivalent experience and at least 2 years of payroll experience in a similar size agency is required.
