FCC Indiana located in Portland, IN currently has openings on 3rd shift for the following roles:

  • Press Operators
  • Sanding Line Operators
  • Inspecting and Packing

Responsibilities:

  • Follow written and verbal instructions, including work standards and check sheets, in order to produce various product components
  • Inspect and verify accuracy of product for quality conformance using measuring and testing machines/equipment or by visual examination
  • Adjust, repair or replace defective parts using basic hand tools
  • Record production data in computer system or on paper.
  • Maintain production progress in relationship to the production schedule.
  • Adhere to machine/equipment preventative maintenance plans
  • Comply with departmental continuous improvement activities (product quality, production efficiencies, scrap, downtime)
  • Promote and ensure conformance to the companys TS 16949 procedures (work standards, regulations, quality manual)
  • Promote and ensure conformance to the companys ISO 14001 procedures (recycling, reducing waste)
  • Promote and ensure a safe, clean, harassment free, working environment. Comply with department 5C activities
  • Effectively communicate with management, direct supervisor and associates

Schedule:

  • 3rd Shift: Monday-Friday 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Understand basic math
