JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description The Light Production worker is responsible for the handling and preparation of natural cheese for product packaging; operating equipment during production and sanitation processes, ensuring both product integrity and quality. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time: 1. Duties of the light production worker may include feed dicer, case product, apply labels, palletize, inspection, relief, and trim, weigh and bag product 2. Operate packaging equipment efficiently and safely 3. Monitors procedures and working conditions that could result in product contamination or excessive waste 4. Communicates effectively with plant personnel 5. Verify quality control items such as product weights, coding, uniformity, and packaging 6. Maintain proper documentation in all formats of recordkeeping 7. Operate various machines at an efficient level to fulfill plant demands 8. Assist with sanitation and housekeeping throughout the plant as needed 9. Adhere to all aspects of company and customer safety, sanitation and site policies 10. Assists with training new employees; 11. Provides assistance to the maintenance personnel, when needed, for machine repairs or troubleshooting 12. Adhere to all Quality and Food Safety policies and procedures, reporting any nonconformity 13. Adhere to all Safety policies and procedures, reporting any nonconformity 14.
