Description Preparing and consolidating financial statements, analyzing and reconciling accounts, analyzing cash flow, creating budgets and forecasts, preparing audits, and managing internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting are among the key responsibilities for this role. Responsibilities

  • Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

  • Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary

  • Produce monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management purposes

  • Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

  • Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations

  • Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)

  • Participate in various department-wide initiatives

  • Complete monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables that includes journal entries, reconciliations, and reports in the compensation area in compliance with GAAP

  • When working with business partners, ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls. Additionally, be able to provide support on special requests Requirements - Experience with ERP systems

  • Vow to meet business deadlines

  • BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

  • Skilled at time management

  • Solid understanding of General Journal

  • General familiarity with Annual Budget

  • Financial auditing experience

  • Adeptness in information systems auditing

  • Month end closings experience preferred

  • General ledger experience

  • Deep understanding of General Ledger System

  • Budget forecasting experience highly preferred

  • Practical knowledge of Annual Operating Budget

  • Demonstrated knowledge of year end closings

  • Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued

  • Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

  • 5+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

  • Demonstrated analytical abilities, tendency to quickly connect dots and surmise logical outcomes

  • Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

  • Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

  • Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
