Description We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team in Portage, Michigan. As a CFO in the skilled trades industry, you will be a critical part of our Executive Leadership Team, overseeing the financial health and strategy of our organization. This role involves managing financial activities, developing financial plans, and ensuring fiscal sustainability.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives

• Evaluate financial performance, identify areas of improvement and provide recommendations for optimization

• Prepare and oversee annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans

• Monitor budget performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure financial targets are met

• Review and provide accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

• Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements

• Manage cash flow to ensure the company has sufficient funds for daily operations and strategic initiatives

• Optimize working capital and manage capital raises as necessary

• Establish and maintain internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets

• Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and professional development opportunities

• Collaborate with other departments to drive financial awareness and accountability across the organization

• Provide financial insights to support decision-making and growth initiatives

• Lead implementation of ESOP

• Oversee the company's technology strategy, aligning it with overall business goals and objectives

• Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and trends to ensure the organization remains competitive and innovative

• Manage and scale the technology infrastructure, including servers, databases, networks, and cloud services, to support the company's growth and operational needs

• Oversee data strategy, storage, analysis, and insights generation to drive data-driven decision-making

• Manage relationships with technology vendors and partners, including negotiating contracts and evaluating third-party solutions

• Implement project management methodologies to ensure that technology projects are delivered on time and within budget

• Develop a long-term technology vision that aligns with the company's overall business strategy and mission. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a CFO or similar leadership role

• Proven experience in managing Accounting Functions

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Extensive experience in managing and improving Budget Processes

• Strong knowledge in Capital Expenditure (CapEx) and Capital Management

• Proficiency in Cash Flow Analysis

• Must hold a CPA Designation

• Demonstrated experience in Auditing

• Proficiency in CRM software use and management

• Strong strategic planning and business development skills

• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Demonstrated experience in developing financial strategies and plans

• Must have a strong ethical code and a commitment to corporate compliance.
