Rotating/Static Equipment PC&C Lead Technician (PIS)

KBR’s Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is looking for multiple Rotating/Static Equipment PC&C Lead Technicians (PIS) to support the multi-billion-dollar Plaquemines project developing a Liquid Natural Gas export facility when fully developed will have an export capacity of up to 20 million metric tons per year. The facility’s location is about 20 miles south of New Orleans. This project is expected to be a multi-phase project spanning two years.

Aligning with KBR’s commitment to sustainability, the 630-acre site located on the Mississippi River provides deep-water access without the need for dredging, allowing for an expedited environmentally friendly development process.

The Rotating/Static Equipment PC&C Lead Technicians (PIS) will diagnose mechanical systems problems, service, troubleshoot, repair and/or replace, align, and maintain mechanical systems & system components. This role will report to their respective CSO Supervisor.

Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

*This position will be expected to be onsite in Louisiana for the duration of project *

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for carrying out activities as instructed by the CSO Supervisor

  • Work in the field directly with craft support

  • Provide direction to junior technicians as needed

  • Perform daily maintenance activities as scheduled

Qualifications:

  • In lieu of formal education 8 + years of directly related field experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
