OVERALL OBJECTIVE AND PURPOSE

Under the direction of the Marketing Supervisor, the Training Coordinator will ensure the smooth and effective functioning of training events geared towards the NLCB’s retailers and staff; as well as support the functions and activities of the Marketing Department.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the design, management and execution of the agreed training modules and curriculum

· Coordinate and schedule weekly Retailer training classes

· Lead the execution of weekly Retailer training

· Co-ordinate and lead in-house staff training

· Maintain a trainee database and update on a weekly basis

· Continuously evaluate and make recommendations on training material and methodology

· Keep current on training design and methodology

· Lead the development of training aids such as manuals and handbooks

· Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including on the field training

· Lead the development, assessment and summarization of evaluation reports to determine the impact of training

· Maintain updated curriculum database and training records

· Facilitate training at Agents’ locations to drive the upselling of the Instant and Social Space brands

· Coordinate logistics for training activities including venues and equipment

· Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment

· Oversee the preparation, distribution and renewal of NLCB Agent and Operator certification

· Work with suppliers to source quotations and place orders for relevant supplies, meals, accommodation and any other requirements necessary

· Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

  • Minimum qualifications:

At least three years sales and training experience in a related field

  • Minimum of three (3) years related work experience
