Our client, specializing in manufacturing parts is seeking an assembler to join their team. As an assembler, you will be part of the parts department supporting in the manufacturing of various metal items. The ideal candidate will have experience in production equipment, experience in using various hand tools and working as part of a team.
Job Title: Assembler
Location: Port Jervis, NY
Pay Range: $16.00
What’s the Job?
Working directly with both the manufacturing and Assembly departments to ensure that all products meet the standards of the company
Use tools and equipment to build parts for machines, engines, or other products
Read work orders to determine and record the parts to be assembled
Read blueprints to determine how parts should fit together
Use a variety of tools to hold, fasten, or position the part being assembled
What’s Needed?
Ability to read blueprints/instructions
Ability to stand for periods of time
Ability to use a variety of tools to accomplish the job
