Description

Are you detail-oriented, financial savvy, and ready for your next challenge? Our client a global manufacturing company seeking a highly-skilled and motivated On-Site Plant Controller for their facility in the Port Huron, Michigan area.

Key requirements:

Degree in accounting or finance. Graduate degree in Finance desirable.

2 years of experience with supervisory responsibilities.

Experience with SAP or other ERP system preferred

Automotive Manufacturing industry experience

As their On-Site Plant Controller, you will be pivotal in managing and controlling the financial operations of the company, ensuring our financial activities align with the company's financial and accounting policies. You will implement monitoring and measuring processes to ensure the achievement of plant goals and objectives, all while maintaining transparency of the financial situation.

You will be tasked with the vital responsibility of preparing financial statements, supervising the fiscal situation of the company, and ensuring accurate month-end close processes. You'll have a keen eye for identifying and analyzing variances between the budget/forecast and actual results. Additionally, monitoring our working capital cash flow will be a crucial part of your role.

You will also drive Key Performance Indicator (KPI) achievement, develop plant budgets, and provide strong support to our Managing Director. Your skills will be instrumental in supporting our quoting, commercial activities, and other analytics as required.

Other essential duties include the implementation of internal controls for the safety and protection of company property and interests, supporting internal and external audits and the management and development of our plant accounting staff.

Requirements

· College degree in accounting or finance. Graduate degree in Finance desirable.

· Min. 5 years of experience with supervisory responsibilities.

· SAP experience or other ERP system preferred

· Plant Automotive Experience
