Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Responsibilities You will assist in areas of formulation of budget and cost estimates to support plans, programs and activities, including presenting and defending budget estimates before authorities. You will provide assistance with oversight and planning of financial/budgetary and program changes. You will review, evaluate and perform data analysis of budget requests as well as obligation validations and expenditures with team oversight. You will assist with data gathering from a variety of hard-copy and electronic source to extract costs, hours and other financial information from various financial systems to generate monthly financial plans. You will apply financial management laws and regulations. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-11: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing and evaluating financial performance data and budgetary problems to identify trends, develop funding projections and alternative solutions for programs in which requirements have changed significantly. GS-09: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Interpreting financial regulations, policies and operating instructions to research, analyze, and compile financial data to be used by management for planning financial/budgetary program changes decision making. OR 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree.
