JCB Inc. Quality Uptime Administrator in Pooler, Georgia

Position Purpose

This position supports our external quality metrics for the Savannah manufacturing facility KTO drive down customer defects. This role works closely with the internal quality team and the engineering team to discuss the best ways to close concerns found in the field. This position works closely with the service department on our status on defects and supports the customer focus center with information from warranty data daily.

Nature and Scope

Reports to Quality Manager

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

  • Evaluates warranty claims from the dealer
  • Assigns task to investigate claims to closure
  • Creates reports on the company status on warranty claims
  • Maintains inspection list for the customer focus center
  • Determines the best methods for analyzing large, complex data sets

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associates degree or higher in relevant field
  • 3 years of experience with quality in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS office and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects wile meeting deadlines
  • Demonstrated knowledge and implementation of sales reporting processes
  • Ability to take direction well and work with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree
  • 5 years of experience with quality in a manufacturing environment

  • Flexibility with work activities; available for overtime
