Primary Duties, Responsibilities, and Opportunities:

Develop a thorough understanding of industry standard specifications commonly utilized by aerospace manufacturers Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and Northrop Grumman among others.

Interface with various shop departments including Quality Assurance inspectors and Mill/Router operators.

Opportunities to cross-train in different departments to diversify skills and assist shop needs.

Work towards a Quality Inspector certification indicating a strong knowledge base and high level of competence as a work order writer.

\ Develop the ability to:

Perform a deep dive on individual parts by reviewing the customer provided engineering data package. Extract all pertinent drawing views, notes, parts and materials. Synthesize all this information into a single complete and concise work order.

Track the progress of and update multiple parts at one time.

Identify missing or discrepant engineering documentation. Contact major aerospace manufacturer representatives to ask clarifying questions.
