Summary/Objective

The primary role for this position is to support all levels of lube service to our customers. The Lube Tech provides efficient and comprehensive service that meets all of our quality and safety requirements and works as part of a team to present a positive experience for our customers. All work provided must follow company policies, procedures, and industry best practices and no employee should attempt to do any work for which they have not been trained.

Essential Functions

  • Check oil and fluid levels and record results

{=html} <!-- --> - Replace oil and air filters and install new oil drain plugs.

{=html} <!-- --> - Clean and lubricate fittings as needed.

{=html} <!-- --> - Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants.

{=html} <!-- --> - Add water to radiator and battery.

{=html} <!-- --> - Complete vehicle inspection noting any additional issues.

{=html} <!-- --> - Communicate additional service/repair needs to service advisors.

{=html} <!-- --> - Adhere to all company process and safety standards.

{=html} <!-- --> - Understand and follow regulations applicable to the industry.

Knowledge and Skills To perform the essential functions of this position successfully, an individual should demonstrate a willingness to work, drive to complete tasks, and the ability to communicate well with their team as well as customers.

Education and Work Experience

Must have high school diploma or GED. Experience in a shop environment and knowledge of tools and practices is helpful. Preference is given to lube experience and training.

Work Environment This position requires frequent pushing/lifting of up to 50 pounds, stooping, standing, and bending. This is a shop environment with varying temperatures and exposure to grease and engine fluids. Safety shoes are required but provided through a company cost sharing program.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: \$12.00 - \$16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 60 per week
