Position Overview: We are seeking a creative and skilled VIDEOGRAPHER / EDITOR to join our studio team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, shooting, and editing short and long-form digital content.  This role involves working closely with studio producers, and various departments to create high quality, engaging stories that resonate with our stakeholders. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Filming:  Plan, direct and execute professional video shoots with DSLR cameras, including on-location filming, multi camera studio and lighting setup s.

  • Editing: Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, visually appealing videos using industry-best practices that match the producers/clients vision. 

  • Post-Production: Add visual effects, music, sound design, and narration to enhance the storytelling and overall impact of the videos.

  • Collaboration: Work with staff, volunteers, and external partners to gather footage, conduct interviews, and source content. Collaborate closely with studio producers and communication team to develop and execute video concepts.

  • Technical Expertise: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of video production tools, software, and best practices.

  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all video content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone and style.

  • Project Management: Maintain an organized library of video assets for easy retrieval and reuse.

    Skills and Qualifications:

  • Video Production Expertise: Proven experience in video production, including shooting, editing, and post-production using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Davinci Resolve.

  • Storytelling Ability: Strong skills in crafting engaging and impactful narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.

  • Project Management: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with video production equipment, including DSLR cameras, lighting, and sound.

  • Creative Thinking: Ability to think creatively and innovate in the creation of visual content.

  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

  • Adaptability: Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and needs.

  • Passion for Mission: Genuine interest in and commitment to the company's mission and values.

    Requirements:

  • Experience : Three to five years experience in a lead video production role.

  • Proficiencies: Mastery of video production techniques, including cinematography, lighting, and sound design.

  • Advanced Software Skills: Experience in additional software tools, such as After Effects for motion graphics or DaVinci Resolve for color correction.

  • Educational Background: Degree in Film, Media Studies, Communications, Marketing, or related experience.

    Work Environment:

  • Monday – Friday during business hours (9 AM-5 PM)

  • Our work is international and may require some flexibility to accommodate teams in different time zones across the globe.

  • Travel may be necessary, both domestic and abroad.
