Summary

Leads the creative ideation for all studio projects. Develops and produces video content for internal and external use through live action filming, or digital motion graphics animation. The ideal candidate will possess strong production knowledge which includes script writing, shooting, and editing.   A deep understanding of social media dynamics, and the ability to craft visually stunning and engaging content. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce engaging and original content tailored to different platforms, collaborating closely with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency.

  • Experiment with new techniques and styles to stay ahead in the fast-paced digital landscape.

  • Oversee all aspects of the production process including planning, shooting and editing, all while ensuring high quality and adherence to OneHope brand standards are obtained..

  • Create compelling scripts and storyboards in collaboration with the creative team.

  • Work closely with various departments to align content with organization objectives and manage project timelines effectively.

  • Collaborates with other departments to develop innovative content ideas for social media and fundraising campaigns, drawing inspiration from industry trends and audience preferences.

  • Ensure project costs stay within budget parameters by staying informed about market prices.

  • Communicate project status transparently across teams and departments.

    Ideation and Concept Development:

  • Collaborate in brainstorming sessions with the marketing team to develop ideas for social media content campaigns.

  • Develop creative concepts, themes, and narratives that resonate with our OneHope partners and align with organization objectives.

    Content Creation:

  • Develop and produce high-quality, engaging, and original content for various digital, traditional, and social media platforms.

  • Collaboration with the marketing team to establish a content calendar and devise an overarching brand video strategy . 

    Video Production/Editing:

  • Responsible for editing/producing and post-producing short-form, long-form, and testimonial storytelling video

  • Fully manage projects including pre-production, production, and post-production.

  • direct live shoots.

  • Organize material from all projects produced and build masters and sub-masters for archival.

  • Ensure a consistent and cohesive visual brand and style across all videos.

    Collaboration and Storyboarding:

  • Collaborate with other departments to create compelling scripts and storyboards for video content.

  • Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and conceptualize ideas.

  • Expertise in storyboarding and video creation for social media reels, innovative digital campaigns, and fundraising initiatives.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, to align content with overall organization objectives and ensure cohesive branding

  • Proactively communicates project status across necessary teams, and stakeholders.

  • Ability to plan and organize production resources as required for various projects .

    Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Film Production, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years experience media content creator/editor.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Resolve, and other editing software; knowledge of DSLR cameras and technical troubleshooting.

  • Ability to manage budget, and have strong problem-solving skills

  • A strong work ethic and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Experience working in demanding creative environments

  • Knowledge of graphic design tools (Adobe Photoshop, etc.).

  • Familiarity with motion graphics and animation.
