Communications Project Manager

Title: Communications Project Manager

Location: Pompano Beach (this is not a remote position)

Reports to:  Lead Marketing Project Manager

  

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Communications Project Manager to join the team. We are  dedicated to sharing God's Word with children and youth worldwide. The Communications Project Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of fundraising and advocacy projects by coordinating tasks, managing timelines, and collaborating across various teams. The ideal candidate should possess strong project management skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for driving brand awareness and fundraising initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ

  • Maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of OneHope and faithfully upholds OneHope ministry in prayer

  • Participates in partner care through the ministry’s Culture of Engagement initiative

  • Collaborates with other team members to design and implement strategies for the pursuit of various Advancement goals as directed by leadership.  The objectives and outcomes of Advancement are not separate from every team member's personal objectives but are owned by each person on the team.

      Project Planning and Coordination:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans for fundraising and advocacy initiatives, ensuring tasks, milestones, and deadlines are clearly defined.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assign responsibilities and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

         Strategic Execution:

  • Implement strategies to enhance the organization's brand awareness and fundraising efforts through effective project management and execution.

  • Ensure all projects align with the organization's mission and values, and contribute to the overall growth and impact.

           Problem-Solving:

  • Proactively identify potential roadblocks and challenges that may arise during project execution and develop solutions to overcome them.

  • Provide quick and effective solutions to keep projects on track and mitigate risks.

            Budget Management:

  • Manage project budgets, expense tracking, and payables, ensuring all expenditures are within approved limits and guidelines.

  • Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and accountability.

            Team Collaboration:

  • Foster strong working relationships with teams outside of the communications department, including advancement, field teams, and functional departments.

  • Facilitate communication and coordination to ensure seamless project execution and completion.

             Project Calendar Management:

  • Maintain a comprehensive project calendar to track and manage the timelines of multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.

       Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or related field.

  • 3-5 years of proven experience in project management, preferably in the non-profit sector.

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.

  • Proficiency in budget management, expense tracking, and financial reporting.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.

  • Familiarity with brand awareness and fundraising strategies is a plus.

    Work Environment

  • Monday – Friday during business hours (9 AM-5 PM)

  • Our work is international and may require some flexibility to accommodate teams in different time zones across the globe.

  • Travel may be necessary, both domestic and abroad.
