Your opportunity: Retail Sales Associate

Job Summary:

In this role as Retail Sales Associate, you will interact directly with customers at the store to assist them with their auto parts needs.

 

Specific Job Duties:

  • Greet customers when they enter the store

  • Answer customer questions / provide customer support to assist with meeting customer auto part needs

  • Assist with ringing and completing the sale at the store

  • Work as a team towards housekeeping, janitorial, and other duties as assigned by the task list (This can include cleaning tires, carrying batteries, mopping floors, etc.)

  • Identify when customer interaction requires assistance from management.

  • Follow loss prevention, risk control, quality assurance, and proper cash handling procedures

     

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Friendly positive attitude / you enjoy working with customers

  • Able to lift tires and batteries weighing up to 50 lbs

  • Reliable transportation to work and reliability to arrive on time and work a consistent schedule

  • Ability to learn automotive parts identification in order to recognize parts and how they relate to our customer purchases.

  • Able to work retail hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.

  • Must be willing to get a little dirty sometimes.

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

  • Bilingual Spanish (desired, not required).

  • Previous experience in a retail environment (desired, not required).

     

    Pay:

    $16.50 an hour starting pay, hourly. Includes potential for overtime and tons of room for increases!

    You will be provided with Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, life insurance at no cost to you, paid vacation and sick leave.

     

    Job Conditions:

  • Exposure to outdoors / weather conditions for times when you must go outside into the yard.

  • Regular sitting, standing, bending and walking as needed to provide proper customer service and to complete vehicle receiving duties
