We are looking for a Plant Controller in our Pomona, CA location.

Position Overview:

Join our Smart Infrastructure (SI) team as our Plant Controller to help us provide valuable and outstanding business services to our customers! The successful candidate will add value by ensuring the commercial success of the plant, driving financial accuracy and integrity, actively engaging in design, implementation and adherence to internal controls, reporting, analysis, planning, forecasting, monitoring and adherence to KPI’s, commercial partner to plant management and manage a team of financial analysts of the EP US, Pomona CA facility.

What Role Will You Play?

  • Be part of the plant’s leadership team and the commercial partner to the Plant Manager while leading all commercial activities and be responsible for the commercial success of the plant.

  • Help define long term strategic targets and drive implementation by breaking them into achievable short-term objectives in a highly dynamic environment.

  • Own all aspects of planning, controlling, accounting and reporting activities of the entire plant including EVA, Gross Profit, Investments, NWC

  • Lead the month-end closing process including preparation of journal entries for revenue and cost accruals. Analyze results and investigate deviations in detail including any corrective actions. Summarize findings and present for senior management.

  • Lead expansion project from a commercial standpoint including comparisons of business plans as well as functioning as gate keeper.

  • Lead CAPEX projects (mainly driven by expansion projects) from conceptualization, approvals, PO, delivery, payment, and capitalization while also evaluating the financial benefits of such projects.

  • Innovate by standardizing and digitalizing existing processes and identify opportunities to develop new KPI’s or reporting that adds business value.

  • Own, ensure and improve internal controls, efficiency and FC accuracy.

  • Recruit, lead, assess, and develop team members by setting challenging targets and ensure achievement by motivating, encouraging and advising as required.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS in Accounting, Finance.

  • 8 + years of proven experience in Finance, preferably in an industrial manufacturing environment

  • In depth knowledge of SAP (FI/CO).

  • Knowledge of Tableau, PowerBI and Knime is beneficial.

  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting process.

  • Ability to develop and lead teams as well as to lead and develop individuals

  • Ability to optimally lead deadlines, prioritize and multi-task.

  • Ability to transfer and apply knowledge in various contexts.

  • Strong impact on results in own area.

  • Phenomenal teammate with the ability to collaborate and communicate cross-functionally.

  • Highly skilled communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a Manufacturing environment, Advanced degree in Finance preferred.

  • The pay range for this position is $132k-$200k, with a 10-15% Incentive. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location. The position can be a grade higher or lower depending on candidate experience.
