THE POSITION

The Department of Human Services, Polk Center is seeking a hard-working, dependable Equipment Operator A. If this sounds like a good fit for you, apply now!

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

You will operate related equipment for the support of operations at Polk Center. You will demonstrate the knowledge of hand tools used in maintenance of equipment and vehicles and follow traffic regulations, DHS Manual Section 7051, and the practices followed in the care and safe operation of trucks, buses, and other vehicles and equipment. Duties are assigned by the Mechanic Supervisor in conjunction with the Polk transportation schedule and requirements of other departments.

Work hours and additional information:

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
