Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 14 countries.

Job Summary

As the Principal GS Site Manager, you will operate independently, overseeing the daily activities and ensuring contract compliance for a large-sized Government Services (GS) projects located at multiple sites.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Supervises and directs the technical and administrative aspects of the project, managing personnel, reporting, staffing, personnel management and ensuring adherence to established company policies and procedures.

  • Collaborates with subordinate Site Managers / Site Supervisors and handles various project-related tasks such as transitional activities, vendor management, client relations, project setup, and contract changes.

  • Independently manages and coordinates the operations at 7 - 10 geographically separated sites.

  • Ensures contract compliance.

  • Handles transitional activities, vendor management, client relations, project setup, and contract changes.

  • Collaborates with subordinate Site Managers and ensure alignment with project requirements.

  • Manages troop services and camp maintenance, providing direct oversight of all LOGCAP services.

  • Coordinates with Operations Manager, Facilities Supervisor, Logistics Supervisor, and other site leadership to ensure facilities and services meet required standards and codes.

  • Communicates and collaborates with Task Order Leadership and Functional Area Managers to address issues, personnel changes, and operational needs.

  • Demonstrates a strong background in project scheduling and customer coordination to support base construction.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

  • Must have or be able to obtain a U.S. Government issued Secret Security Clearance and maintain it for the duration of employment on this contract.

  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and at least 12 years of relevant experience in operational management of government-sponsored programs providing Engineering, Logistics, Maintenance, Transportation and Base Operations Services.

  • Requires experience in managing projects ranging from $50M to $100M.

  • Prior experience managing 200-500 employees.

  • Must have a construction or facility maintenance background.

  • Requires experience managing dispersed operations across multiple locations.

  • Must be familiar with shop drawing review and processing.

  • Must be fluent in English.

  • Requires a current Driver’s License with at least 6 months of remaining validity.

  • Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.

Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Prior military experience.

  • Prior LOGCAP experience.

  • Project scheduling and customer coordination expertise.

  • Background in managing troop services and camp maintenance.
