Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 14 countries.

Job Summary

As an Operations Specialist you will perform routine assignments as an entry-level professional. You will assume a vital role in executing tasks within the Site Operations, Region, and/or Task Order Operations. You will collect, process, validate, and verify data. Additionally, you will prepare and complete contractually required reports, create and update project presentations, and handle administrative duties such as organizing meetings and documenting site activities.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Perform Operations functions at the Site Operations, Region, and/or Task Order Operations level.

  • Multi-task proficiently while meeting short term goals for both scheduled Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and unscheduled reports/tasks.

  • Document site activities via photographs, track construction projects and other Operations & Maintenance (O&M) activities.

  • Produce professional internal and external communications.

  • Create and update project presentations.

  • Prepare meeting minutes for distribution through SharePoint After Action Report (AAR) and the Memorandum for Record (MFR) platform.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Must have at least 2 years of related administrative experience.

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, Associate’s Degree or higher preferred.

  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English is required.

  • Must be familiar with the Program Management Office (PMO) Operations Desktop Operating Procedures (DOP) to include but not limited to: Employee Messages, Incident Reporting Requirements, Crisis Management Action Team, Situation Report, Aircraft Accident/Incident Emergency Response Plan, and Master Schedule of Work.

  • Must possess strong administrative and organizational skills and contribute to effective team communication.

  • Must have overseas deployment experience on a LOGCAP assignment.

  • Must possess basic understanding of LOGCAP concept of operations to include Performance Work Statement (PWS) and associated technical exhibits.

  • Requires working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)

  • Requires Service Order / Customer Service experience and use of Maximo.

  • Must possess driver’s license with at least six months of remaining validity.

  • Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.

Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Experience working with and developing Power BI Dashboards.

  • Knowledge of Appian software.
