Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 14 countries.

Job Summary

As the Generator Foreman for the Power Generation program in Poland, you will ensure efficient oversight of contractual obligations, internal protocols, and procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical inspections and operational assessments at different sites across Poland, offering direction to subcontracted workers during repair operations.

  • Oversee and provide guidance for the Power Generation program in Poland.

  • Direct generator mechanics across Poland to ensure comprehensive coverage of all needs.

  • Ensure adherence to contractual obligations and internal protocols.

  • Manage parts procurement to maintain optimal stock levels.

  • Validate all Preventive Maintenance (PM), services, and repairs on Generators and Work Orders conducted by KBR mechanics and subcontractors.

  • Approve or reject repair estimates from subcontractors.

  • Conduct technical inspections and operational checks on generators and light sets at various camps across Poland.

  • Strictly adhere to safety protocols, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

  • Follow HAZMAT regulations for waste materials from generators.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 4 years of directly related experience.

  • Must have at least 5 years of leadership experience.

  • Requires the ability to speak, read and write in English.

  • Must be proficient in working with various generators and engines, such as SDMO with John Deere/Doosan engines, Himoinsa with Yanmar/FPT IVECO engines, Cummins with Cummins engines, and Onis Visa with Perkins engines.

  • Must be skilled in collaborating with individuals whose native language is not English.

  • Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled environments, outdoors in all weather conditions.

  • Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.

Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Prior overseas experience, ideally on LOGCAP or similar BOS style contract.
