LCV EUCOM Poland: Food Services, Supervisor - Contingency

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.

  • Provide the planning necessary for the job including instructions to the Cooks and Food Services Workers.

  • Ensure adherence to food safety standards, hygiene regulations, and quality control measures.

  • Oversee customer interactions, handle complaints or issues, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, order supplies, and oversee stock rotation to minimize waste.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food service area, equipment, and facilities.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including sanitation and cleanliness standards.

  • Plan all Food Services personnel work schedules on a weekly basis.

  • Prepare weekly menus for timely submission to the Food Services Manager for review and approval.

  • Address issues promptly, make decisions under pressure, and resolve conflicts diplomatically.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Requires at least 4 years of directly related food services experience.

  • Requires at least 2 years of Leadership, Supervisory, or Management experience.

  • Must be Serv Safe Qualified.

  • Army Food Management Information System (AFMIS) and Subsistence Total Order and Receipt Electronic System (STORES) experience required.

  • Must be willing to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Must have excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • Must have a valid Passport with at least 18 months of validity.

  • Knowledge of all relevant safety standards related to area of responsibility required.

  • Requires a valid driver's license.

Candidates must meet visa and or work permit requirements for the country of assignment to be considered and eligible for employment.
