The Grand Hotel is looking for an individual to serve as the supervisor on duty, ensuring the highest levels of hospitality and service are provided. Represents hotel management by resolving any guest or hotel related situation. Lends support to the concierge, bell staff, gate, and transportation areas.

*Empowers associates to provide excellent customer services. Ensures associates

understanding expectations and parameters.

*Provide immediate assistance to guests as requested or needed.

*Is highly interactive with customers on a regular basis

*Reviews guest satisfaction results with associates. Participates in the

development and implementation of corrective action plans.

*Make suggestions to further guest satisfaction and associate satisfaction.

*Prepare for monthly departmental meetings with active input.

*Monitor Vehicle Maintenance records and schedule as approved.

*Oversee Transportation bookings and filing of documents pertaining to services rendered.

*Administer and document random road test to check on safe driver skills.

*Assists as needed in the interviewing and hiring of associate team members with the

appropriate skills.

*Train new hires to be successful in performing their job. Ensures associates are cross-

trained to support successfully daily operations.

*Establishes and maintains open, collaborative relationships with associates and ensures

associates do the same within the team.

*Participates in associate progressive discipline procedures. Ensures hotel policies are

administered fairly and consistently, disciplinary procedures and documentation

are completed.

*Ensures that regular on-going communication is happening with associates to create

awareness of business objectives and communicate expectations, recognizes

performance, and produces desired results.

*Celebrates success and publicly recognizes the contributions of team members in all

shifts. Participates and helps implement associate recognition programs.
