POSITION TITLE: STUDY SKILLS ASSISTANT\ \ LOCATION: CENTURY HIGH SCHOOL\ \ POSTING DATE: July 29, 2024\ \ CLOSING DATE: Position will be open until filled.\ \ ADDITIONAL INFO: 32.5 hours per week\ \ DAYS: Nine-month employment\ \ SALARY SCHEDULE: Rate of pay will be \$13.74 per hour\ \ START DATE: As soon as possible\ \ JOB SUMMARY: The principle function of this position is to provide instructional assistance to students. The position works with individual and/or small groups of students to increase learning skills and levels; ability to work with students experiencing academic or behavior difficulties. The work is performed under the supervision of a classroom teacher and the building Principal. The principle duties of this position are performed in classroom environment.\ \ JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a high school diploma or equivalentANDsuccessful completion of a minimum of 32 academic core college semester credits that will lead to a Bachelors DegreeORmust pass the ETS Paraprofessional Praxis Assessment Test.
